Umeeda Switlo is the current Public Engagement Officer at CUSO-VSO West in Vancouver. She left Uganda at age 15. Together with her family, she is so grateful to a CUSO-VSO volunteer who helped them start a new life in Canada. She has travelled to Kenya , Uganda and Tanzania and met many volunteers doing amazing work in the field as well as many RV's in Western Canada.
