Ugen is from Bhutan and just graduated from Quest University in British Columbia. She studied International Development with a focus on child rights and child protection. She is currently an intern at CUSO-VSO West in hopes to make connections and learn more about public relations and development issues. She hopes to return to Bhutan one day and start her own organization that are geared towards empowerment of youth and children.
