CUSO-VSO West intern James Christopherson, talks to Don Archibold who did his placement assignment with the provincial education office in Papua New Guinea from 1987 to 1990. This 3 year stint eventually turned into a 14 year stay for Don in Papua New Guinea in which he launched a successful vernacular language program that is in existence today.
In this podcast, Don talks about negotiating the complex education and language politics in Papua New Guinea.
