Karina Hurtadi, from Peru, living in Canada, worked in Bolivia for three years as South to South Volunteer. She was part of a Prevention Program in which she worked with young women who were street vendors, and tried to prevent them from becoming street kids. In many instances, she served as a role model to these young women, and tried to achieve her goal by building trust amongst these women and herself.
