Linda Gascoyne served as a school teacher in PNG teaching Home Economics in 1991-1992 then returned in 2004 to teach Math until 2007. Because of the tribal war that happened in PNG, the schools were closed, but Linda still managed to teach the kids out of her home. This incident occurred in her first visit. During her second visit - in 2004 - Linda was able to teach under better circumstances. She taught "Math through Baking", which her students enjoyed and this was a great way for everyone to learn!
"Thanks Linda for sharing your story! You sure are a team player!
